After many years without a dog , we finally got Cody in 2010, followed a year later by Lexy. They are both working Cocker Spaniels, great fun to have around and very much a part of our family.
It quickly became apparent that there was a very limited choice of dog collars and leads available. Iāve always been a keen sewing machinist, initially starting self employment over thirty years ago, and having my studio at 6 Bridge Street in Kelso I was able to make collars and leads for our dogs. Friends suggested I should start selling them and so Kelsae Collars came to be in 2015. The name āKelsaeā is the local pronunciation of my hometown of Kelso and with a fear of local dialects being lost with new generations, I was keen to keep the pronunciation !!
As the years progress, Kelsae Collars is beginning to plug the market and offer many new designs of collars and leads. They sell at outdoor events from April through to September, including Dog Agility, Horse Trials and Agricultural Shows. The Autumn and Winter months are spent at indoor events in the area. Itās also an opportunity to increase stock, usually at the beginning of the year, when sales can be quiet. Thereās always many new designs coming through each year.
I hope you enjoy browsing through my shop. Thank you.
